Clean Speech Cleveland
Yachad is one of the many presenting local organizations of this 30-day challenge!
“In a world torn apart by division and strife, Clean Speech Cleveland brings timeless lessons of Jewish mindful speech to communities across North America. Our 30-day education and awareness campaigns unite communities in making real and lasting improvements in the way we speak to build a more positive, respectful and peaceful world.”
Dassi Shtern & Ahuva Taub represented Yachad for day #36. Their video lesson can be viewed here:

In partnership with the Organization of Autism Research, Yachad Cleveland presented a sensitivity training for the high school members of the Yachad Club at Fuchs Mizrachi School.
Through guided conversations and multimedia exercises, students experienced simulations designed to help them better understand neurodivergence and disability. The training also created space for thoughtful dialogue about the importance of inclusion in our classrooms and communities, emphasizing culture and attitude change and encouraging students to see themselves as advocates for others.
Thank you to Fuchs Mizrachi School for having us!
If you, your school, synagogue or other type of group would want this training,
please reach out to Sara to schedule!
During these trying times, there are a number of initiatives we are starting for our Yachad members and in support of Yachad Israel chapter:
The OU has a letter writing campaign for IDF soldiers, there is a tehillim list circulating for Yachad friends and family that need our tefillot (Should anyone want to add names its yachad.org/tehillim), a Pizza 4 Soldiers program starting (stay tuned for more details), and more robust virtual programs to help our Yachad Israel friends cope and maintain some normalcy.
We encourage you to participate and attend as many of these programs as possible.

Support Our IDF Soldiers Now!
To our dear Yachad community,
Israel is currently facing a very challenging situation, with tens of thousands of IDF soldiers and reservists bravely confronting unprecedented challenges on the front lines. Showing our love and support can make a world of difference.
We invite you to join us in a small act of kindness. Your support can bring comfort and encouragement to these brave soldiers. Click here: https://www.yachad.org/pizza4soldiers
to send some delicious pizza pies made and delivered to our heroes by our Yachad participants.
All proceeds from this initiative will go to Yachad Israel Programming, aimed at helping the families affected by the current situation.
Your partnership means the world to us,
Yachad Israel

Wednesday, April 15: Food & Fitness #6 We enjoyed a delicious dinner together before heading downstairs for our monthly work-out! Without an instructor this time, we were self-led and everyone did a great job leading the routines and teaching their friends. Jenny would be proud!
Wednesday, March 25: Pizza Partners: Chometz Party Edition Milky Way, Rita’s, Birthday cake, for Lauren’s birthday– we certainly got our chometz in at our last event before Pesach! We also shared our favorite holiday traditions and did Pesach crafts.
Monday, March 23: “Sports & Sundaes” GO B’Yachad Pre-Pesach Event Indoor mini-golf, mini-bowling, team-building challenges & more! There was so much to do at our women’s Pre-Pesach event! We also enjoyed an ice cream sundae bar and celebrated birthdays!
Wednesday, March 18: Art on the Town Our annual Spring visit to the Art Museum was a lot of fun and educational! Working in teams to complete the Scavenger Hunt challenge was a great way to actively engage in the galleries and we always enjoy the hands-on exhibits in Gallery One. Thanks to everyone who joined us at this local, cultural gem!
Yachad is a thriving non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the needs of all Jewish individuals with disabilities and ensuring their inclusion in every aspect of Jewish life. Inclusion aims to ensure all persons with diverse abilities are able to take their rightful place in the Jewish community. We educate and advocate within the Jewish community for a pro-disability attitude.
