Israel B’Yachad

During these trying times, there are a number of initiatives we are starting for our Yachad members and in support of Yachad Israel chapter:

The OU has a letter writing campaign for IDF soldiers, there is a tehillim list circulating for Yachad friends and family that need our tefillot (Should anyone want to add names its yachad.org/tehillim), a Pizza 4 Soldiers program starting (stay tuned for more details), and more robust virtual programs to help our Yachad Israel friends cope and maintain some normalcy.

We encourage you to participate and attend as many of these programs as possible.

Support Our IDF Soldiers Now!
To our dear Yachad community,

Israel is currently facing a very challenging situation, with tens of thousands of IDF soldiers and reservists bravely confronting unprecedented challenges on the front lines. Showing our love and support can make a world of difference.

We invite you to join us in a small act of kindness. Your support can bring comfort and encouragement to these brave soldiers. Click here:
https://www.yachad.org/pizza4soldiers
to send some delicious pizza pies made and delivered to our heroes by our Yachad participants.

All proceeds from this initiative will go to Yachad Israel Programming, aimed at helping the families affected by the current situation.

Your partnership means the world to us,
Yachad Israel

Past Events

Wednesday, December 26: “FriendsGiving @ Milky Way”
We love our new pre-Thanksgiving tradition! Eating dinner, playing games, discussions of gratitude– all help us get ready and excited for the holiday.

Wednesday, November 19: Giving Day “Fun-Raiser” at Mitchells
The best part of our annual campaign is the celebration together! As the fund-raiser came to a close, we joined together to enjoy ice cream, make last minute calls for support and make thank you cards and videos to those that had supported us. We also raffled off Yachad swag and prizes to thank everyone for their efforts, especially those who made donations, sold swag or who made a fundraising team!

Monday, November 17: GBY “Crafty Kickoff”
The women of GO B’Yachad division launched a new year of programs with an art-inspired evening at the library! We enjoyed jewelry making and canvas stencil painting and are looking forward to the new year together!

Wednesday, November 12: Annual Fall Pie Bake Party
What is becoming a very delicious Fall tradition was enjoyed by all! Thanks to everyone who joined us for games and baking!

Friday-Sunday, November 7-9: Yachad Annual Leadership Shabbaton
Despite some travel snafus on the trip home, we were so proud to send an amazing delegation of Yachad leaders to the national conference! We met new Yachad leaders from all over the country, enjoyed a shabbat together and learned so much!

Wednesday, November 5: Re-Launch of Food & Fitness
The fitness crew is back at it! We are so happy to be back working out with our dance instructor, Jenny, learning new routines and perfecting old ones!

Wednesday, October 29: Dinner Club Re-launch– Gameshows Show-down
We had fun playing game shows after dinner at Milky way! The Price is Right, Name that Tune and Family feud was enjoyed by all, and the best part might have been pushing the buzzers!  Thanks to everyone who came and Milky Way for hosting us!

Wednesday, October 22: Kickoff at Graeter’s
While a cold and gloomy evening may not be ideal for ice cream, it was a perfect night to re-launch our regular weekly programming! Thanks to everyone who joined — it was nice to meet new faces and get to know everyone a bit better with Ice-Breaker Bingo.

Sunday, September 21: Apple Picking at Eddy’s
What a beautiful day to pick fruit! This pre-Rosh Hashana tradition was so much fun with Yachad friends! The apples and grapes we picked will be sure to sweeten our holiday and our year ahead! Thanks to everyone who came out to Eddy’s and joined the fun.

Wednesday, September 3: End-of-Summer Foam Party & BBQ
It was a great night for a Foam Party and a BBQ! We wished farewell to the summer and to our friend, Sam!
